Winter

Oh how I wish it was------- Summer....This has been such a long and boring Winter. I feel like we are trapped inside our home. I'm running out of things for K and I to do. Kiana graduated from her Early Intervention school and now attends regular pre school. She absolutely loves it!!! She can't wait to go and usually wants to stay longer when I pick her up. It's been a real life saver this month. At least it gets us out twice a week. :)

We also went to Disneyland after Thanksgiving. I was shocked to see how much K loved all of the characters. She was in awe of Minnie Mouse and all the princesses. She just kept talking to them telling them all about her Snow White shirt and how I was her mama and Auntie Tina and Hana with her....It was too cute :)

We celebrated CNY with some of our China families. We went to a festival in Foxboro and had a blast!!! K really enjoyed herself and loves her China sisters...

Summer Fun

Wow how the time is flying by...Summer is almost over and we are busy, busy,busy...We have gone to the beach, Martha's Vineyard, Sheep Farm, the Rox game and so much more. Kiana is still going to school once a week for two hrs. She loves it now and always ask for more. We plan on putting her into pre-school come Jan., at least two times a week, maybe even three. She has speech once a week too and looks forward to Lisa coming over and "playing with her". She is talking up a storm and singing everything. She is still hard to understand at times, but somehow makes sure she gets across what she is saying...I'm proud to say she is now potty trained and I have taken her water bottle away at night too, well kinda :) I've replaced it with a sippy cup...(It's a start) Kiana is obsessed with Dora the explorer....At first I wasn't sure if she should really be watching it, but I have to say she follows along and really pays attention. She even imitates Swiper the fox and says OH MAN...Just like him...She is so funny too. I would say her favorite thing to do is go to the shoe store DSW. She tries on all the shoes and says TOO BIG, well of course they are, it's an adult shoe store!!! Until next time....

Where has the time gone???

Where has the time gone??? I can't believe it's been a year since K joined our family. June 1st was our first of many GOTTCHA DAYS... We celebrated with our Chinese Families over the weekend. I can't get over how well everyone is doing. It's like they have always been in our lives. They are all blossoming into beautiful little girls. Kiana had so much fun playing with the girls and was so tired. She played hard with no nap two days in a row. Which means she was a little monster...:) In fact, when we left Kiana was crying and today if you ask her if she had fun with her friends she will start to cry...We are truly blessed to have our China Family be such a huge part of our lives and I hope we will continue to stay in touch and see each other...

Kiana has finally started school. She qualified for early intervention (finally) She is attending group once a week and will start one on one speech soon. She talks ALL day, but her pronunciation is a little off. I'm just glad we are getting the help!!! She seems to like it. For the first 3 times she did great. Today however, was a different story. She screamed and cried and started hyperventilating. I left with the teachers promising me she would be okay. It's so heartbreaking and stressful :( When we got in the car to come home she kept saying -more school please...So I know she likes it, she is just like her mama and likes a little drama in her life...Until next time....
