The latest!!!!

So here is the latest... We received updated photos of Kiana that were taken last week. Isn't she precious??? I'm so in love...We turned in our paperwork and should be hearing within the next 2-3 weeks of when we will be traveling. Just got back from visiting with Lao Lao and Papa and they couldn't be more excited... We are over the moon ourselves, but stressed out to the max too. I feel like I'm 13 again going to a new school on the first day. (so excited, yet stressed and scared) ... We have so much to do between now and traveling. Just wanted to share the latest info with you. When we hear something we will let you know....Until then I'll continue nesting!!!!

Introducing: Kiana Skye Piao Connelly!

Here she is...our daughter! Her name pretty snow matches her pictures! According to her bio she likes to play with dolls, she's very active/restless/walking - loves being outside, and loves playing games and listening to music....oh, and she's a good sleeper (yeah). She really seems to be very healthy and happy which makes her parents VERY HAPPY TOO:)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!! We got our referral............. Our social worker just called. We are still in shock and I'm shaking right now..... All we know right now is her name, age and where in China she was born. She was born in Bei Hai, Guangxi Province. Her name is Piao Xue Guo. From everything I looked up it means ( Pretty Snow ) Her b-day is Dec 5Th, 2007, which means she is about 16months. She is a Sagittarius, just like her daddy!!!! Geno is going to go and pick up her picture and bio info tomorrow. I HAVE TO FREAKING WORK............so that means I won't see her precious face until Wed. when I get home. I promise to put out more info as soon as I can. Next we take the info to a pediatrician. Can I just say OMG......one more time......... Take a deep breath everyone.......

April- Longest month ever

Just thinking how April is going to be the longest month ever... To clarify to those who don't know how the process goes. ( We don't really know either) Hopefully, the next time the CCAA does their matching we are in the next batch. As of right now they have matched up to March 8Th, 2006. Again, our LID is March 9Th, 2006. We are hoping that this will take place sometime in the first 2 weeks of May, (this is in total control of the CCAA and it could take longer). We are then notified by our agency. At this point we don't know if we receive a package in the mail or have to go to the agencies office to pick up her pic and bio... After that we travel in anywhere from 2-8 weeks to China. YEAH!!!
I will be posting once a week now even if there is nothing new to report- Just to keep everyone updated. Thanks again for all the well wishes and the support.

Looks like - WE ARE NEXT!!!

Well, as of right now all of the rumors are saying the cut off this month will be the 8th....hey that's okay- It just means that WE ARE NEXT!!!!! My panic is now turning to scared, nervous, overwhelmed, and HAPPY... I have finally made an appt. with a pediatrician.
We now need to go through all of her things that I have been collecting over the years and figure out what else is needed. With that said, I will be starting my Spring cleaning now or do they call it nesting??? I guess the next referral cycle should be around the first 2 weeks in May. I imagine we will be seeing our daughters face then..... We can't wait... :)
